FaceOnFire began as a forty-something woman’s odyssey through the wacky world of perimenopause and has morphed into the now fifty-something woman’s attempts at navigating middle age with panache. When she’s not gorging on chocolate or dousing the flames of a hot flash with a glass of Gruner Veltliner, the author can be found combing the shelves of her local nutrition store looking for natural menopause cures that won’t cause breast cancer, stroke, weight gain, an even lower libido, murderous impulses or multiple personality disorders. She also relishes artisanal cheeses, writing and traveling.
